Hole in my Eyeball
Not my eyeball, but an eyeball of another with a similar problem as I, ball, no.
I have a hole in my eyeball! Rather, my retina, but the word "eyeball" makes it sound much more disturbing and a little childish, which I enjoy. You see, the retina is similar to the film in a camera -- if you think of the eye as a camera, which it kind of is, if you think about it, as I advised. A hole leaks light, or fluid, potentially leading to a retinal detachment, which I will not show a picture of because it made my stomach turn, slightly. We all know what happens when there is no film in your camera.
I don't think it is actually as bad as it sounds, people over 70 get this all the time. This week I'll have a wee bit o' surgery on the eye and report back when the hole is fixed. If I don't report back, then I went completely blind. Or I just forgot.
*Update* There is no hole in my eyeball. Sorry for the alarm. It is only a beautiful spot of color.
