A Peek at Coalesce

A Peek at Coalesce, originally uploaded by Zarayy.

I'm deeply saddened to report the potential loss of my dear friend, iPod. Only 7 months old*, it's battery, the revolutionary little brick of lithium ion ladened with fatal flaws which Apple is finally 'fessing up to and addressing in the new upgrades is now providing me with approximately one hour of life, if I'm lucky. I recommend that all ya'lls wit' da iPod accessory, go get learned in the ways of charge and discharge cycles (did you know there is a maximum number of recharges?), and the importance of making just the right playlist so that you don't ever have to fast forward, cause ya know, that kills battery life.

*Note: Defective batteries are covered under the one year warranty, but because this pod is a replacement of the first defective pod, the warranty is outofdate. Next time I'll try not to be such a cheapass and purchase the extended warranty.

In other news, I have a little project in the works and without revealing too many specifics I'd like to show a little of what is to come.

Update This site is now syndicated! Simply get your preferred feeder, I recommend either NetNewsWire or NewsFire, and subscribe to this URL. Voila! And for a fancy addition, my photos posted on Flickr are also in syndication alongside this blog. Very nice!
Commenting is a little rough around the edges. I decided to switch to Blogger's very own commenting service, though there are a few issues with archiving and broken links. Until I can fix it – please don't be mad.
I'm Back!! All that time away and nothing changed. Ok, that isn't exactly true – I got rid of some baggage and changed the linkage over there in the right column, which took all of about 5 minutes. For those who don't know, I took the site down with the intention of revamping Command Zed entirely and of course there were those plans of the ole switcheroo to Movable Type. Ha! Didn't happen. I am not entirely inept when it comes to this techie web stuff, but I could not get MT to work – I tried all my magical powers and not one proved to be effective, not even that satchel of seeds I picked up at the Moth's Lair. Around this time, school began and I simply decided blogging wasn't a top priority – for this I apologize and hope no one cried for long periods of time during my disappearance. Fear not, brave readers, for one day I will upgrade – but only with your help! YOU, yes you, can help out a poor girl with her installation and configuration needs. YOU, yes you, email me if you want to donate your time to installing MT for me. Thanks, luv ya.

Things are happening, have and will. Excitement! Drama! Boredom. Now, I work and get things done like a good student. I'll gradually bring you up-to-date as days go by – so stick around, joy is on its way.
