Today was exciting, getting bits of information on new projects and such. I met with others from class about our tentative trip to London in february and it sounds really exciting. We will be visiting such design studios as Pentagram and we have plenty of free time to explore London, or even go elsewhere in Europe. I am going to plan on taking 2 or three days to hit France or the Netherlands, it depends on the money situation. The ATYPI group will be holding their annual conference here in a couple of weeks and because I am going to be volunteering, will be granted a pass that allows me to be a part of the entire conference, free! I am really very happy about that and am looking forward to it. Getting to rub shoulders with the likes of Robert Bringhurst, Jean François Pourchez and digital type gods, Underware from the Netherlands. Very exciting, at least in my geeky world.
