This Fourth of July weekend (which means nothing here in Canada) saw me consuming many Mojitos, my new summer drink of choice. Our little garden is a wonderfully inviting place to sit and relax with said drink in hand, listening to the neighbor practice his saxomaphone and swatting at the bees that love to fly around my head. I should take my drink to the beach with me. I could probably pour it into club soda bottles or something. Well, now that just isn't safe, drinking and riding bicycles. I have already smashed my face into the cement once this year. I don't need that to happen again, even if it does mean relaxing in the sand, watching the sail boats drift through the choppy Canadian waters of the Pacific, listening to the seemingly millions of seagulls flying around screaming their stupid little heads off while I try to drink my Mojito in peace. Maybe I will stay in my garden today. Oh, and I discovered, once again, that I am not as smart as I look. Read my post from June 16 to find out why.
