After a long day of travelling via road and rail, I finally made it to Portland. It is much hotter down here than in Vancouver, there are no ocean breezes to cool me off. So, quite miserabely I sit awaiting dusk and cooler air. It is wonderful seeing everyone that were once so commonly a part of my daily rituals and routines. This city also feels so much smaller now. I suppose it is, I am just so used to seeing the ugliness that is Vancouver architecture, rising from the pure beauty of its land and beaches.
